On June 1, 2024, the Georgian Cultural and Educational Center of Southern California hosted a memorable event in San Diego County, marking a significant milestone in our “Georgian Days in Southern California” series, initiated in 2018. This was the first event of its kind in San Diego, bringing the rich heritage and traditions of Georgia to our community.
The celebration featured an enchanting performance by renowned Georgian singer Saba Kemularia, whose soulful voice captivated the audience. Guests enjoyed a traditional Georgian Supra (feast) from Trail Bakehouse complemented by exquisite Georgian wine, making the day a true cultural immersion.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in this vibrant celebration of Georgia’s rich heritage and independence. We look forward to many more events that unite and strengthen our community.
