- “Covid in kids. Myths and Reality” presented by Dr. Marina Burstein.
Dr. Marina Burstein, M.D., is a Board Certified Pediatrician. Dr. Burstein graduated from Tbilisi Medical Institute with her Medical Doctor degree. She completed her residency in the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Burstein completed her fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
- “From smallpox to Covid-19. Vaccination-history and contemporary situation…” presented by Dr. Samuel Burstein.
Dr. Samuel Burstein, M.D., is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Burstein received his Medical Doctor’s degree from Tbilisi State Medical University. He completed his internship and residency at Mayo Graduate & Medical School, Rochester, MN. Dr. Burstein completed Geriatric Fellowship Program at UCLA VA in Los Angeles, CA.
- “Cancer screening in the US” by Dr. Manana Elia.
Dr. Manana Elia, MD., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas. She serves as a Medical Director of the University of Kansas Cancer Center-East. Dr. Elia is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a subcertification in medical oncology. She completed a fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical Institute and completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
The event is open to the public and is free to attend. However, each attendee must pre-register/RSVP by November 11, 2021. No one will be admitted without the registration. Space is limited. The registration is on first come first serve basis.
